Darkroom Productions LLC is a full service multimedia company with two branches; Baltimore Maryland and Los Angeles California (opening in early 2009).  Darkroom's managing members consist of Juan Donovan Bell and Jamal Roberts.  Darkroom was created in 1997 by the two men as they set off on their journey to take over the music industry as its hottest new production duo.  The venture proved to be successful as production for Grammy winners such as KD Lang, R Kelly, Chamillionaire, and 50 Cent's G-Unit soon followed.  The release of the independent mixtape "Hamsterdam - the Best of Baltimore" would prove to be the project to take the company to another level.  Taking advantage this new found success, Darkroom would soon become the talk of the entertainment industy.  Numerous magazines took notice as Juan and Jamal landed in Rolling Stone Magazine, VIBE magazine, the New York Times, FADER magazine, XLR8R magazine and many many more publications, websites, and blogs.  The awards soon followed as they were named Producer of the Year in both 2006 & 2007.

With success comes expansion, and Darkroom was no exception.  The company is now an umbrella that embodies many different entities.  Music Production, Film Production (Darkroom Films), and a record label (Darkroom Enterprises).

The goal for both Juan and Jamal was and is to always make innovative groundbreaking material and projects.  They have shown that they are talented enough to make a serious mark in the world of entertainment and the world bears witness to it every single day
